All praises are due to Allah, SWT. We are very grateful to all of our supporters who have donated thousands of hours in time and thousands of Dollars in funds towards our past projects and operational expenses. Your rewards are with Allah SWT. Generations of Muslims will benefit from your Sadaqa of time, labor, and money.
Over $5.2MM has been spent on the new building since March, 2014. Total bank account balances stand at $434,658 as of January 1, 2026. We are keeping $300,000 as reserves for emergencies. Now that the building is mostly completed, our focus turns to making the Masjid financially self-sufficient. To that end, we will be bringing together Atlanta visionaries, influencers, engineers, and donors to plan on what projects make the most sense in undertaking and implementing. Masjid Al-Momineen is registered as a 501(c)-3 non-for profit religious organization. (TAX ID can be furnished upon request .) We will, inSha’Allah, send you a receipt as soon as we receive your donation.
Our monthly operational expenses are beginning to exceed $25,000 as of January, 2026. Electronic donations (PayPal, Zelle, Auto Debit via ACH, Nizam Tap to Pay kiosks inside the Masjid; and Mohid kiosks and Mnbr app – please download the Mnbr app from Google Play Store and Apple App Store) range from $12K to 15K per month. Cash and check donations range from $5K to $7K per month leaving a deficit of $3K to $8K monthly.
The Parable of those who spend their possessions for the sake of God is that of a grain out of which grow seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains: for God grants manifold increase unto whom He wills; and God is infinite, all-knowing. [Holy Quran 2:261]
Every year we collect and distribute over $65,000 in Zakat monies to the needy in the communities around the Masjid. In 2023 we distributed $81,662 in Zakat. In 2024 we distributed $65,153. 2025 numbers will be published soon.
