Program Objectives

The Holy Quran, is the literal word of Allah SWT, revealed to Prophet Muhammad SAW over 23 years as the final and complete guidance for humanity. It is the primary source of faith, law, morality, and spirituality in Islam, shaping how Muslims understand God, worship, and live their daily lives. The Qur’an is viewed not only as a book of commandments, but also as a mercy, healing, and source of wisdom, addressing the human heart, mind, and character. It is the unchanged, preserved, and ultimate authority – to be recited in prayer and memorized for devotion with proper Tajweed (intonation) – and reflected upon for lifelong guidance.

  • Memorizing 2 days per week (Hifz).

  • Periodic review of previously memorized verses (Mourajaa).

  • Learning to recite with Tajweed.

  • Pronunciation characteristics of letters (Makharej). 

  • Proper stopping and starting rules.

  • Participation in Quran competitions.

  • Boys and girls age 7+
  • Ability to read the Quran with fluency
  • Ability to apply the rules of Tajweed
  • Successful passing of qualification examination by Hifz Instructor
  • Commitment to daily memorization and revision
  • Good behavior & attendance
  • Open enrollment all year long (depending on seat availablity)
  • Students will be expected to memorize the Quran with an emphasis on reciting with Tajweed (intonation), fluency, and accuracy.
  • Each student proceeds with memorization according to speed and ability.
  • Students pay $30 a month – discounts are available for multiple students within the same family
  • Payment due at the time of registration
  • Program fee due fifth of each month
  • Financial assistance available upon request based on criteria being met.
  • All year long, major Islamic holidays off, flex vacation schedule
  • Classes two days a week (Saturday & Sunday 11am-2pm)
